Why We Chose an old House For Our SPa

When we walked into the house that is now The Griffin House Day Spa, it didn’t feel like a commercial building, it felt welcoming, quiet, and peaceful, the kind of place where people could truly slow down.

Enumclaw is a community that values character, history and connection - this town has a slower pace that people truly appreciate. Opening a spa in a 1940’s home felt like a natural extension of that. Rather than build something sleek and modern, we wanted a space that felt like it belonged here - something that reflected the heart of Enumclaw itself.

At The Griffin House Day Spa, we believe great skincare is about more than treatments. It’s about the environment, the experience, and the feeling you carry with you as you leave and for us this old house was the perfect place to create that.
